One thing that can be hard to know when shopping for a wedding dress is, when do I need to start looking? While you don’t want to shop too late, you also don’t want to shop too early. We suggest a sweet spot of 10-12 months before the big day!
This way you’re shopping all the current styles and still giving yourself plenty of time to find the one, get it ordered, which typically takes anywhere from 7-8 months, and have time for alterations. Even a dress that fits perfectly will usually need some fine tuning adjustments. Whether that be the hem, bustle, straps, etc.
